I've always been a big fan of the Heroes of Might and Magic series, and was fascinated by the variety of dragon creatures in Heroes 3. The above dragon designs are inspired by the game. From the upper left corner and going clockwise:
black (red) dragon--canine-like teeth towards the tip of the snout; plenty of spikes on each side of the face forming a "beard"
gold (green) dragon--closely resemble the black dragon but more gracefully built, with smaller "beard" and more elaborate horns
crystal dragon--dragons that live in underground caves most of the times so crytals start forming on their body
azure dragon--some of the largest dragons, with massive horns growing all over the face
rusty dragon--close relative to crystal dragon; they have the most developed "frill" on the back of the head
Isn't it cool, how everybodies Dragons are different?? some people's dragons resemble others but, none of them are exactly the same I like your Dragons alot Asher

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
